FAW EQUIPMENT MANAGER PREPARES FOR CHALLENGE

IMG_4503Dai Griffiths, the FAW’s Equipment Manager, has given himself a cycling challenge to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of former Wales National Team backroom staff member David Williams, who sadly passed away in February.

Speaking about his challenge, that will take place on 20 February 2016, Dai said: “I aim to cycle from Caernarfon Castle to Chepstow Castle, which is 190 miles, to raise funds for Macmillan and their continuation to find a cure for cancer.

“I am dedicating the journey to my friend and colleague David Williams, who lost his life after a short illness in February. He was and always will be my friend and my colleague.

“I would also like to help all those who are currently fighting the big fight and keep believing in the battle against cancer.”

Dai is looking to raise £2000 for the charity and has currently achieved 20% of his target.
